Pre-Professional Division is a class designed for students who wish to participate in the Northern Plains Ballet productions throughout the year and gain valuable performance experience working with professional dancers and choreographers.
Students must be able to commit to three two and a half hour rehearsal periods during each week of the production period to work with Northern Plains Ballet. While students are committing to these rehearsal periods they may not be called to rehearsal each time. Schedules for the Pre-Professional Division will be posted the Friday before the rehearsal week and will not change without 48 hours notice. Students are asked to keep the staff highly informed of their other commitments so that every effort can be made to avoid scheduling conflicts.
There is no cost to registering for the Pre-Professional Division, but each student will be responsible for selling 5 tickets to the production in which they are performing (see Production Policy for the Pre-Professional Division). In addition, by agreeing to be available for the rehearsal periods outlined below, students will receive a discount on their tuition to NPDA.
