A new working volunteer group of Northern Plains Ballet, Partners promotes both Northern Plains Ballet and Northern Plains Dance Academy by assisting in many roles of the organization. We are looking for chair people and volunteers these various committees: AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
Duties of this committee include distributing brochures to local businesses, (restaurants, dentists’ offices, etc.), helping with subscription tables at performances and assisting with open rehearsals at the studio.
ARTIST CARE
Important areas of concern include coordinating welcome packages for new dancers at the beginning of each season, sending birthday cards to dancers and staff and coordinating monthly snacks at the studio for dancers and staff. Members coordinate a meal for dancers on performance days when two performances are scheduled.
STUDENT CARE
Important areas of concern include coordinating welcome packages and orientation for new students throughout the year. Sending birthday cards to students, gathering information for the monthly newsletter, and coordinating a meal for students on performance days when two performances are scheduled and main goals of the committee.
BOUTIQUE
Partners' members help set up and staff the boutique tables at the Belle Mehus before, after and during intermissions of all performances. They also set up and staff boutiques at the studio.
DRESSERS
Dressers provide wardrobe assistance and dressing help including costume repair/sewing/pressing/washing.
FUNDRAISING
This committee coordinates activities to generate funds for Northern Plains Dance programs throughout the year.
MAILING AND OFFICE
Workers assist Northern Plains Dance with mailings as needed.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The Special Events committee helps coordinate food and volunteers for Northern Plains Dance cast parties, after-show receptions, fundraisers, and plans Partners' end-of-the-season and holiday dinners.
